Clau Rocha (they/them) is an interdisciplinary artist, writer, and divinatory practitioner working as a library professional. Their hybrid research-studio practice centers on reimagining archival spaces and queer Latinx narratives through storytelling and divination, collaging together aesthetics from both academic library spaces and familial altars. They received their MA in Visual and Critical Studies from SAIC in 2022, and was a recipient of the MAVCS Fellowship award. Their work has been featured in exhibitions such as “Contigo, Diana Solis” at Co-Prosperity, “Home Not Home” at Pilsen Arts & Community House, and in independent publications such as Stanza:Nonbinary Anthology and Mujer Manifesto.
